Unable to access repository through HTTPS

Postby Florin » Thu Mar 01, 2012 5:17 pm

Hi,

Recently, a problem that leads to inability to access a repository through HTTPS was discovered.

Users running Syncro SVN Client with Java 1.6 or older, were unable to connect to the repository, if the repository is configured to use only one of the following encryption protocols: SSLv3 or TLSv1.

Starting with Syncro SVN Client 7.2 build 2012030115, a new options was added, which allows you to instruct the internal HTTP client which encryption protocol to use with priority.
See Options -> Preferences -> SVN -> HTTPS Encryption Protocol.

For users who might come across this problem, we recommend to update to the latest build, and talk with your repository administrator to find out what encryption protocols are enabled, in order to set the new option accordingly.

Regards,
