More Spaces compability

Postby MuffinDCC » Thu Jan 03, 2008 1:41 am

Hello,

First off, I would like to say that you have a wonderful product and great job on that. My feature request is related to Spaces in Leopard. It would be great if, in the future, there was more compatibility, i.e.

1. Be able to assign to client to a particular space
2. When selecting the icon in the Dock, it will move to the space where it is active

Happy New Year :D

Hello,

On Mac OS X the Syncro SVN Client application runs with Apple's Java virtual machine and this Java virtual machine has problems with the working spaces introduced by Leopard. For example Leopard selects the space containing the window of a running Java application only if there is a dialog of that application active and displayed on top of the window's main frame. You can check that in Syncro SVN Client by running an action that displays a modal dialog (Show History, Add/Remove Working Copy, File Information, etc) and then switching to other application and switching back to Syncro SVN Client.

The Apple Java team should fix these compatibility problems which affect all Mac users who run Java applications.

Regards,
Sorin
