Hi People...

I am new to this forum. I am working on SVN.

I have installed SVN and SynchroSVN client on the same machine and running. It is working properly.

But I have a doubt regarding repository creation.

Can we create repository using SynchroSVN client?

I just created a new repository using SynchroSVN (By entering new URL
for repository "svn://localhost/mysynchro " ). But when I clicked on
the newly created repository url in SynchroSVN an error message is
displayed. The error message is

Browsing error: svn: No repository found in "svn://localhost/mysynchro"

Please solve my problem.

Thanks & Regards
BalaChandu :(

The Syncro SVN Client is a client which is able to connect to a SVN server, check out a working copy from a SVN repository and manage this working copy on your computer. For creating the SVN repository you need a SVN server application. You have to install a SVN server application and using that you have to create a SVN repository before accessing the repository with Syncro SVN Client.

I am thankful for your reply. I know that we have to create the repository using SVN Server.

But, I want to know whether it is possible with SynchroSVN. Thats it.

Thanks & Regards,

No, it is not possible. Syncro SVN Client is only a SVN client and cannot create a SVN repository on the SVN server.
